@Marco : wrong, it’s working perfectly, just don’t use the serial patch, use the one given in the 16.17 version, it will work with all the next release.

hi @brett i followed your intruction and still asks me to log in. i completely removed previous versions/installations that failed to work. I installed a new one but it seems there is a file left that tells the apps the should connect to microsfot. can u help me and tell me where to find it?

Installed Office off-line (Only needed Word and Excel), also installed serializer off-line, while still offline I opened word and excel up created a doc and then closed apps, went back online and office opens fine.

i´ve tried that way, but still it fails. loggin windows tries to appear and hangs. any suggestion is very welcome 🙂

Hi,
The serializer doesn’t seem to work for me.
I have an M1 Macbook Pro with macOS Monterey.
The office apps all open in read-only mode even though the 16.17 version serializer says that all microsoft apps are activated.
If anyone has a solution for this, please help. 🙁

Works for me!
First – turn off your internet.
Then – install the serializer and after that install the “Microsoft Office Installer”.
When it’s done open your mac Firewall and block all connections for every app (word, excel, etc)
Then open each app while your mac is offline and make sure that everyting works.
Close all the apps and recover your internet connetion.
Done.
