Hello, it constantly asks me for a password and in the end the cleaning fails due to lack of permissions, I give it full access to the disk and it keeps asking for permissions all the time.

Hello, I don’t know if anyone knows a solution so that the program does not constantly ask for the password over and over again, I have installed it with SIP disabled and it still asks for the password a thousand times, I don’t know if this has any solution, thank you.

Works perfectly. Anyone saying otherwise has disabled the startup daemon or is a troll and works for Nektony.

Hello, I have tried deactivating SIP, I have downloaded multiple versions and installed and removed many times and the same thing always happens, it asks for the Mac password over and over again without stopping, which works for you and that is why you say that it works for everyone, it seems like a great idea to me. Boldness on your part, I wish it worked for me, but it doesn’t, once I downloaded one that did, I removed it and put another version based on this, no version will work for me again.

You have disabled the helper program. Find a friend who knows how to administer a mac. This command needs to be run from Terminal as an Admin user:
sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac4.Agent.plist

1. deeply delete any file from CleanMyMac and MacPaw from your internal HD.
2. disable/delete all permissions, Launch-Agents and -Daemons for CleanMyMac
3. restart your Mac
4. install CMM X 4.14.6 into Applications
5. start CMM and allow communications to any server excepted domain apple.com and macpaw.com
6. in the preferences of CMM disable the automatic update of CMM and the analysis of CMM
7. start a scan of your Mac and run the cleaning. While the cleaning click on cancel every time the password is asked.
8. close CMM and restart your Mac.
9. Open Terminal and paste the following command I found on torrentmac 2 years ago:
sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.macpaw.CleanMyMac4.Agent.plist
Press the Enter key, enter your user password, and then press the Enter key again. Please note that your password is not shown on the screen. It is absolutely normal. Please make sure that you enter it correctly.
Restart your Mac and try a new scan with CleanMyMac X.

Hello, thanks for the help, I have looked for that file and I don’t see it, I think the command has the same problem and that’s why it gives me that error, I have the application installed but LaunchDaemons cannot be found
Loading error: 5: Input/output error
Try running `launchctl bootstrap` as root for more complex errors.
