    It works very well.

    Open /Library/Application\ Support/Blackmagic\ Design/DaVinci\ Resolve/.license and copy lic file

Second binary in the package is for Fusion.

Third binary open/dainci remote monitor/contents/Masos/ and copy binary Monitor

    That’s all

Yes it does work. Use the license file from version 18.6.5, copy as described, you will need to create the .license directory and then replace the resolve binary from the one in the crack in this package.. done!

How do I crack this software?? The crack included in the instalation package is not working. It is asking for the activation serial key when Resolven is opened after instalation.
If someone got it figured out Please help me.

If it does not work then consider it as one of those failed acquisition. Don’t force it. Revert to previous version that can be installed.

We can try though the previous installing procedures of previous versions. But I concur there’s no Blackmagic.Lic file in the installer. And for those who do not know what the “.lic” folder is it is a hidden folder that you can unhide with command + shift+ ” . ” in the Finder location column. Hidden folders and files will show in greyed format. This where the missing Blackmagic.lic is supposed to be placed to get rid of the Activation Key query when you run the davinci resolve app. ‘Here’s hoping we’ll be better off with the next version upload.

For DaVinci Resolve, replace the binaries from the ones inside the zip file called “Davinci and Fusion 18.6.6.zip”
If you’re wondering where the Remote Monitor executable goes, it’s at the root level of the DaVinci Resolve folder. Show the Package Contents of that app, then navigate to MacOS & overwrite the executable with the one from the zip file.

I’d previously deleted DaVinci Resolve from my HDD, so there was no .license file in the Library/Application Support/Blackmagic directory. But I found a previous version in my archive that had the following perl command for macOS Terminal. I used it, then applied the addition codesign command.

Using both of those commands worked. First thing to do when the app launches is to deny connection request to blackmagic since the app’s default preferences have the app automatically check for updates. Once you deny that request, then go into Preferences, and under System (not User) and the General tab, unclick “Automatically Check for Updates.”

Here’s the two Terminal commands that worked for me:
    #1 – PERL Command:
    perl -pi -e ‘s/\xE8\x86\xE3\x03\x00\x85\xC0\x74/\xE8\x86\xE3\x03\x00\x85\xC0\xEB/g;’ -e ‘s/\xD2\xA9\xF2\x00\x94\x20\x04\x00\x34/\xD2\xA9\xF2\x00\x94\x20\x04\x00\x35/g’ /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve && codesign -f -s – /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve

    #2 – CODESIGN Command:
    codesign –force –deep –sign – /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app

Not sure if the second one was necessary after applying the first, but I used it nonetheless. As I said, the app works fine.

    Uninstall & Install 18.6.6 First

    Don’t open app

    1. copy .lic file by typing in terminal (I use from 18.6.5)

    open /Library/Application\ Support/Blackmagic\ Design/DaVinci\ Resolve/.license

    2. copy .lic file and paste in hidden folder

    3. Copy libfusionsystem.dylib to /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/Libraries/Fusion

    4. Copy Resolve to /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS

Where is everyone getting the .lic file from???? All instructions on this page and the previous version keep saying to paste the .lic file to the .license folder. Ok, I unhid the folder but where on earth do we get the .lic file to paste there? Why is it so difficult to include a proper installation guide with this download?

Hey guys! for all the guys wondering how to install it, here’s a step by step guide:

    1. Install the .dmg file from the download
    2. Download 18.6.5 version of DaVinci resolve
    3. Copy .lic file from the 18.6.5 crack folder
    4. Copy it to /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/ .license

if the .license folder is not there unhide it by cmd+shift+ Dot.
if still not there which happened in my case, make a new one, it might ask if you want to start the name with dot & press use dot.

    5. After that copy the .lic file from 18.6.5 update to the above folder.
    6. Copy all the other cracked files from 18.6.6 crack folder to the following

    RESOLVE: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS
    FUSION: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/Libraries/Fusion
    REMOTE MONITOR: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Remote Monitor.app/Contents/MacOS

    7. Now be happy cause you just installed the cracked version of Davinci resolve 18.6.6

now you can open and enjoy the software.

I tried 2 days but finally managed to run Davinci 18.6.6 by using below steps

Copy blackmagic.lic file from 18.6.5 ( you must download that one as well)

Type the following command in the terminal:
    Open /Library/Application\ Support/Blackmagic\ Design/DaVinci\ Resolve/.license

Paste blackmagic.lic into the opened hidden .license file

If you can not see the gray hidden files , they are revealed when you press command + shift +. keys

Copy libfusionsystem document inside the 18.6.6 crack folder and past into below
    Macintosh HD/Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/Libraries/Fusion
(When you come to the DaVinci Resolve.app you must right click and press Show Content to see inside the folder)

Copy Resolve document inside the 18.6.6 crack folder and past into below
18.6.6 Dissolution products within the crack residues are adhered to the ground below:
    Macintosh HD/ /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS

Copy Remote Monitor document inside the 18.6.6 crack folder and past into below:

Thank you, thank you and thank youuu!

Follow step by step each of them and it will work.

      – Specially for downloading also the previous version (18.6.5) to get the .lic file otherwise you cannot find it in the crack of 18.6.6

      – To show the hidden folder press “Command+Shift+G” for the “.license” folder.

Your guide is amazing and the only one it worked for me. Thank you again!

I’m on macOS Sequoia and it works fine. did not need license file. As someone stated above if you cant follow readme files and/or help from the community then please go and buy the software from the developer 🙂

Heres what i did to make it work, many thanks to the helpful people here

Copy cracked files to required places:

    RESOLVE: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS
    FUSION: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/Libraries/Fusion
    REMOTE MONITOR: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Remote Monitor.app/Contents/MacOS

Make a code signing cert if you don’t already have one then run this command in terminal:

    perl -pi -e ‘s/\xE8\x86\xE3\x03\x00\x85\xC0\x74/\xE8\x86\xE3\x03\x00\x85\xC0\xEB/g;’ -e ‘s/\xD2\xA9\xF2\x00\x94\x20\x04\x00\x34/\xD2\xA9\xF2\x00\x94\x20\x04\x00\x35/g’ /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS/Resolve && codesign -f -s {NAME OF YOUR CODESIGN CERT} /Applications/DaVinci\ Resolve/DaVinci\ Resolve.app

Hey guys! for all the guys wondering how to install it, here’s a step by step guide:
    1. Install the .dmg file from the download
    2. Download 18.6.5 version of DaVinci resolve
    3. it contains the .lic file from the 18.6.5 crack folder

on newer Mac OS you can’t create a .license folder so I used terminal to show all hidden folders.
I copied a .system folder from ~Library/ (any hidden greyed out dot folder will work)
    I copied it to /Library/Application\ Support/Blackmagic\ Design/DaVinci\ Resolve/

    renamed it .license
deleted contents of the copied folder and pasted the .lic file from the crack 18.6.5

Copy cracked files to required places:
    RESOLVE: /Applications/DaVinci Resolve/DaVinci Resolve.app/Contents/MacOS
