      Hi Markus,
      It is better to buy Adobe Photographers 20 GB plan because so far there is no unpaid version working on M1 devices it will cost you about 10$per Month

    Hello,

    it works under Catalina if you follow the procedure below:

    1– first disconnect network.
    2– run in terminal this : sudo spctl –master-disable (this is to force the installer to open)
    If you get “installer may be damaged” error:

    3– Right Click “install.app” open package contents
    4–Go into Contents -> MacOS
    5– Run the “install” shell file

    lightroom classic is installed – don’t run it !!!!

    6–open adobe ZII
    7–drag the icon’ lightroom (don’t use automatic search)
    8– open the .app, :-). it works
    After you can connect on net.

    Hello there!

    I was having the same “Develop module is disable” issue.
    All I did to solve the issue was to allow Lightroom to any outgoing connections on LS; however, when I start Lightroom offline, the module is disabled as well (this also happened when version 10.0 was released).

    Wrapping it up:

    1. Go to LS (HandsOff, LuLu, etc).
    2. Edit rules.
    3. Choose Lightroom and modify the rule to Allow any outgoing connection.
    4. You will ALWAYS need to be online before opening Lightroom.
    5. Once Lightroom is open, you can go offline (if wanted).

    So far, it’s been working for me this way and I really hope it can work for you all as well.

    Adobe Zii still not working on Apple Silicon… Only works with a clean install and run through Rosetta.

    I followed iphoniak’s method from the Photoshop post but also had to do a few extra steps:

    1. Backup your library
    2. Remove any previous versions of Lightroom (I used AppCleaner)
    3. Download Lightroom through the Creative Cloud desktop app
    4. Open and start trial
    5. *copied from iphoniak’s post

    A. In the Zii App navigate to /Contents/Resources

    B. Copy the 5 .bundle files (v10.bundle, vamt.bundle, vclient.bundle, vcontrol.bundle, vkern.bundle) and save them somewhere

    C. Rename the saved bundles as follows—
    v10.bundle = LogSession.framework
    vamt.bundle = amtlib.framework
    vclient.bundle = ahclient.framework
    vcontrol.bundle = AdobeBIB.framework
    vkern.bundle = AgKernel.framework

    D. To manually patch Adobe products, do not use Zii and replace frameworks above with the one’s in the table below

    Application Replace framework found in /Adobe Application Name/Contents/Frameworks

    Acrobat/Distiller AdobeBIB.framework/AdobeBIB.framework
    After Effects LogSession.framework
    Animate LogSession.framework
    Audition LogSession.framework
    Bridge ahclient.framework (may need to codesign app if app crashes)
    Character Animator AdobeBIB.framework (may need to codesign app if app crashes)
    Dimension AdobeBIB.framework
    Dreamweaver LogSession.framework (may need to codesign app if app crashes)
    Illustrator LogSession.framework
    InCopy amtlib.framework
    InDesign amtlib.framework
    Lightroom AgKernel.framework
    Media Encoder LogSession.framework
    Photoshop AdobeBIB.framework
    Prelude LogSession.framework
    Premiere Pro LogSession.framework
    Premiere Rush LogSession.framework
    XD LogSession.framework

    Now Lightroom is fully working including the Develop Module

    Did not disconnect from the internet at any point

      vkern.bundle = AgKernel.framework

    Hmmm… this only works for me, if I allow outgoing connections for LR.
    Develop module disabled if blocking LR

    Previously on LR 10.1, worked perfect with all outgoing connections blocked

    How’s it working for you?

    Looks like this only works when unblocking outgoing connections for LR.

    Develop module is disable when blocking. Anyone else have this issue? Fix?

    10.1 works fine when blocking all connections
