Please help – what is the Problem? How can one solve it?

If you copy and paste the commands off this web page directly into Terminal, the hyphen char above is not legal in Terminal which is why it fails.
Copy into a text editor first and overwrite using your Mac keyboard hyphen key then copy and paste the modified ver into Terminal and it will work OK.

/Applications/Adobe Bridge 2021/Adobe Bridge 2021.app: the codesign_allocate helper tool cannot be found or used

I solved it myself…..via Command Line Tools for Xcode 12.3

you need to run the adobe zii then run the terminal command, it works.
January 10, 2021 12:09 pm
tried running Zii and then terminal command, and still crashes.
Also got this upon running the terminal command:
the codesign_allocate helper tool cannot be found or used”
/Applications/Adobe Bridge 2021/Adobe Bridge 2021.app: replacing existing signature
xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun
/Applications/Adobe Bridge 2021/Adobe Bridge 2021.app: the codesign_allocate helper tool cannot be found or used

SOLVED!
In Terminal, first enter this code:
xcode-select –install
(allow it to download & install – explanation here: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/254380/why-am-i-getting-an-invalid-active-developer-path-when-attempting-to-use-git-a )
Then run the command
sudo codesign -f -s – /Applications/Adobe\ Bridge\ 2021/Adobe\ Bridge\ 2021.app
January 20, 2021 8:40 am
Thanks! Works like a charm.
January 25, 2021 12:49 pm
When I run the sudo code, I get this: error: The specified item could not be found in the keychain.
Can anyone translate?
January 27, 2021 2:10 am
/Applications/Adobe Bridge 2021/Adobe Bridge 2021.app: cannot find code object on disk

worked through 2 tips on this page
1) If you copy and paste the commands off this web page directly into Terminal, the hyphen char above is not legal in Terminal which is why it fails.
Copy into a text editor first and overwrite using your Mac keyboard hyphen key then copy and paste the modified ver into Terminal and it will work OK.
2) in terminal use : xcode-select –install
install software
use the text you get from point 1)

Thank you so much; it does make sense now. I copied and pasted it on Notes, edited it, and pasted it on the Terminal. Voila. It opened the app.
I might ask for a Keychain password. Be sure to enter your normal password.
